Speaking alongside US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine gave an update on Operation Epic Fury as it moves into its 11th day, with US forces continuing operations against Iran’s military capabilities.

Caine outlined three core objectives: degrading Iranian ballistic missiles and drone systems, attacking naval assets, and targeting elements of its military-industrial base to prevent future threats to the US and its partners.

The United States and allies have struck more than 5,000 targets in the first 10 days, including missile sites and naval vessels. Ballistic missile launches by Iran have declined sharply, and civilian shipping through the Strait of Hormuz remains disrupted amid ongoing hostilities.
