President Donald Trump has said the United States and Iran are advancing towards a potential agreement, stating “it’s going to be a deal with no nuclear weapon” as talks continue.

He also said “we have a very good relationship with Iran right now”, describing what he characterised as improved diplomatic engagement with new Iranian leadership. Trump further claimed sustained pressure had shifted the balance, saying “the blockade is maybe more powerful than the bombing”, referring to combined military and economic measures.
