Key developments:
- Expanded cooperation in defence, maritime affairs, trade and investment.
- Commitment to strengthen collaboration in the digital economy, green technology and manufacturing.
- New measures to combat cyber-enabled crime, human trafficking, internet fraud and people smuggling.
- Agreement on information technology and digital transformation, including digital inclusion and emerging technologies.
Both leaders said the partnership supports regional peace, stability and international law, while creating new opportunities in agriculture, food security, innovation, education and people-to-people exchanges across Southeast Asia.
