Taiwan has begun its annual Han Kuang military exercise, a 10-day programme designed to test command decision-making, operational coordination and national resilience under realistic wartime conditions.
The exercise introduces new procedures inspired by US military practice and, for the first time, includes temporary mobile internet restrictions to assess civilian communications during network disruption.
