Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted President Patrick Herminie of Seychelles at the Kremlin on Wednesday (22 April), as the two countries mark 50 years of diplomatic relations in 2026.
Discussions covered bilateral cooperation across political, economic and humanitarian sectors, alongside regional and international issues.
Putin said trade ties remain modest but have potential to grow, highlighting tourism and coordination at the UN. President Herminie described relations as longstanding and close, noting Russian support during recent regional disruptions.
