Germany and Poland have marked the 35th anniversary of their Treaty on Good-Neighbourliness, Friendship and Cooperation, reaffirming their commitment to European security, economic cooperation and bilateral relations.
In a joint declaration, the two governments described the treaty as the foundation of modern German-Polish cooperation, while highlighting the importance of working together through the European Union and NATO amid ongoing security challenges linked to Russia’s war against Ukraine.

- Germany and Poland welcomed a new bilateral Defence Cooperation Agreement.
- Both countries pledged to strengthen resilience against hybrid threats and disinformation.
