Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have signed a declaration outlining plans for a 100-year strategic partnership, expanding cooperation across defence, economic recovery, energy, innovation and people-to-people ties.
The declaration reaffirms Canada’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, NATO and European Union aspirations, while committing both countries to conclude a formal One-Hundred-Year Partnership Agreement by December 2026.

- Canada pledged continued military, financial and humanitarian support, alongside expanded defence-industrial cooperation, including drone technologies.
