Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has launched the “Carpathian Eight” (C8) regional cooperation initiative at a summit in Bukovel, Ukraine, aimed at strengthening security, infrastructure, energy and economic links across Central and Eastern Europe.
The inaugural summit brought together Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Poland, Slovakia, Czechia, Austria and Hungary, alongside the European Union, to discuss regional connectivity and investment.
