The leaders reviewed progress across defence, trade, technology, innovation, space cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, while discussing regional and global developments, including West Asia and Ukraine.

Key developments:

  • Agreed to deepen defence cooperation through co-design, co-development and co-production of advanced defence technologies.
  • Adopted an Innovation Roadmap 2030 and announced a Joint India–France AI Working Group.
  • Agreed to establish a high-level mechanism aimed at doubling bilateral trade within five years.
  • Expanded cooperation in space, civil nuclear energy, critical minerals, aviation, railways and skills development.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening economic growth, innovation, education, mobility and cultural ties, while supporting international peace, stability and prosperity.
