US President Donald Trump addressed the Faith & Freedom Coalition 2026 Policy Conference at the Washington Hilton, focusing on religion, national identity, and political mobilisation in the United States.

In his remarks, Trump stressed the role of faith in governance, stating: “to be a great nation you have to have religion and you have to have God in your nation.” He added: “If you don’t have that, it just doesn’t seem to work out.”

Trump further credited the Faith & Freedom Coalition with extensive electoral mobilisation efforts, stating: “The Faith and Freedom Coalition was with us every step of the way,” and highlighting their voter outreach, including door-knocking, messaging, and calls during the campaign cycle.
