Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon have elevated bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership, endorsing the India–New Zealand Strategic Partnership: Roadmap to 2030 during Modi’s official visit to Auckland.
The agreement expands cooperation across trade, defence, maritime security, education, climate, innovation and regional affairs, while reinforcing shared support for a free, open and rules-based Indo-Pacific.
