India and Indonesia have agreed to deepen cooperation across defence, trade, technology, maritime security and regional affairs following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state visit to Indonesia and talks with President Prabowo Subianto.
The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the India-Indonesia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, announcing new agreements covering defence, digital connectivity, health, critical minerals, education, disaster management and space cooperation. They also pledged to strengthen coordination on Indo-Pacific security, counter-terrorism and multilateral issues.
