US Central Command (CENTCOM) completed a ninth consecutive night of strikes against Iran late on Sunday (19 Jul), concluding what it described as a weekend wave of military operations.
According to CENTCOM, the strikes targeted Iranian military infrastructure to reduce Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping and civilian mariners transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

- Targets included military command centres, air defence systems, coastal surveillance sites, missile and drone launch locations, maritime assets, and communications networks.
