Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan have signed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement during the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Summit for Joint Defence on Friday (7 Aug), marking a new phase in trilateral defence cooperation.
The agreement was signed by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan following talks on bilateral relations and regional security.
