Rwanda and Botswana have signed six cooperation agreements to deepen bilateral ties across trade, transport, aviation, education, agriculture, tourism and regional connectivity.
During a state visit by President Paul Kagame to Botswana, President Duma Boko highlighted mutual learning and expanded cooperation across education, health, agriculture, youth empowerment and infrastructure development.
Kagame said the agreements aim to remove barriers to investment, including visa facilitation, double taxation and improved air connectivity, creating a more predictable environment for collaboration. The visit is among Boko’s first state visits since taking office in 2024.
