Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said his visit to Sofia reaffirmed the strength of relations between Türkiye and Bulgaria, highlighting a shared commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation and regional stability.

Following meetings with President Iliyana Yotova, Prime Minister Rumen Radev, and Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova-Chamova, Fidan said the two neighbouring countries were well positioned to deepen collaboration based on mutual respect, common interests, and good neighbourly relations.
