Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Georgia have reaffirmed their commitment to expanding trilateral cooperation following the 10th Türkiye-Azerbaijan-Georgia Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Istanbul.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili pledged to strengthen collaboration across political, economic, trade, security, science, technology and cultural sectors.

Key developments include:

  • Enhanced cooperation on regional connectivity, including the Trans-Caspian East-West Middle Corridor and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway.
  • Expanded coordination on energy security, green energy projects and low-carbon technologies.
  • Renewed commitments to combat terrorism, organised crime, cybercrime and illicit trafficking.
  • Greater support for trade, investment, climate action and people-to-people exchanges.

The ministers also reaffirmed support for each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, highlighting the importance of regional peace, stability and sustainable economic development. The next trilateral foreign ministers’ meeting is expected to take place in Georgia in 2027.
