Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation during talks in Bishkek on Wednesday (2 Sep), signing a series of agreements covering trade, transport, investment, education, security and digital innovation.
The leaders pledged to strengthen economic ties, improve regional connectivity between Central and South Asia, and deepen cooperation through international organisations, including the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

- Target of US$200 million in bilateral trade through a new action plan.
- Agreements signed on transit trade, virtual assets, education, science, climate cooperation and law enforcement.
- Support reaffirmed for the CASA-1000 energy project and expanded transport and logistics links.
