Fiji and Israel have signed a series of bilateral agreements aimed at expanding cooperation across sectors including agriculture, water management, energy, digital transformation, healthcare, cybersecurity and national security.
The agreements were announced in Suva during a visit by Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, ahead of the official opening of Israel’s new embassy in Fiji.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka said the partnership has evolved beyond its historical foundations into a modern relationship focused on innovation, technology and development. Sa’ar described the Pacific as a region with significant potential for deeper cooperation and investment.
