Fiji and New Zealand have renewed their Duavata Partnership for 2026–2030, setting out a five-year framework to deepen cooperation across the Pacific. The agreement builds on the 2022–2025 partnership and reinforces collaboration on regional security, climate action, sustainable development, trade and people-to-people links.
The statement reaffirms both governments’ commitment to sovereignty, equality and the rules-based international order, while supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the 2050 Strategy for the Blue Pacific Continent, and Fiji’s national development priorities.
