Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held talks in Moscow on Friday (17 Jul), reaffirming bilateral cooperation across diplomacy, trade, transport, education and regional affairs.
The ministers signed a 2026–2027 foreign ministry consultation plan and reviewed economic cooperation, with bilateral trade reaching nearly $5 billion in 2025. Discussions also covered the International North-South Transport Corridor, South Caucasus stability and environmental cooperation in the Caspian Sea.
