Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Chad’s Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad, Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul, met in Moscow on Tuesday (14 Jul) to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation and regional issues ahead of the Third Russia-Africa Summit in October.
The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening political dialogue, increasing trade and investment, and broadening cooperation across energy, mining, agriculture, healthcare and education. They also exchanged views on developments in Africa, Ukraine, the Middle East and reform of the UN Security Council.
