Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Tanzanian President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the Egypt–Tanzania strategic partnership during talks in Dar es Salaam.
The leaders discussed expanding cooperation in agriculture, transport, energy and infrastructure, while also highlighting the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project as a major example of bilateral development. President al-Sisi also called for greater understanding and cooperation among Nile Basin countries on shared water issues.

- Two memorandums of understanding were signed covering transport, electricity and renewable energy.
- Egypt proposed agricultural land reclamation projects, logistics zones and expanded development of the Port of Dar es Salaam.
- Both sides discussed a shipping route between Safaga and Dar es Salaam, alongside wider trade and infrastructure links.
