US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met with Solomon Islands Prime Minister Matthew Wale on Tuesday (21 Jul) to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across development and security.
During the meeting, the two leaders signed a Letter of Intent to support the return of the Peace Corps to Solomon Islands. Landau also highlighted progress under the Development Finance Corporation Investment Initiative Agreement and the Millennium Challenge Corporation Threshold Program.
