India and Poland have reaffirmed their Strategic Partnership during Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s official visit to India from 21–23 October 2026, where he met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for talks on bilateral, regional and global issues.

The leaders reviewed progress under the India-Poland Action Plan 2024–2028 and agreed to strengthen cooperation across trade, investment, defence, technology and connectivity.

Key developments include:

  • India and Poland set a target of doubling bilateral trade by 2030, building on trade worth approximately US$6.36 billion in 2025 and expanding cooperation in investment and industry.
  • Defence ties will be strengthened through industrial cooperation, technology partnerships and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • India and Poland will increase collaboration in AI, semiconductors, space and critical minerals.
  • The countries reaffirmed support for UN reform, Indo-Pacific stability and a just peace in Ukraine.

The visit highlights growing India-EU cooperation and Poland’s role as a gateway for Indian businesses in Central and Eastern Europe.
