Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Ghanaian Minister for Foreign Affairs Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa held talks in Moscow on Monday (17 Aug), focusing on expanding Russia–Ghana relations, trade, investment and regional security.

The ministers discussed cooperation in energy, agriculture, geological exploration, mineral development and humanitarian exchanges. They also signed an agreement on Visa-Free Travel for Holders of Diplomatic or Service Passports, aimed at facilitating official travel and strengthening government-to-government cooperation.
